scad, elearning, prject demoAs the communications link between supplier and consumer, the graphic designer conceives and executes concepts that inform, motivate, educate or sell. The graphic design programs prepare students for careers in a variety of fields including publishing, education, advertising and new media.

Through SCAD-eLearning certificate programs, students learn to produce a broad range of materials including newsletters, brochures and Web sites. They are introduced to a variety of industry-standard computer applications used in the production and presentation of print and online media. The undergraduate certificate features an emphasis on production, while the graduate certificate emphasizes management of content, design and development processes, and creative teams. The SCAD-eLearning M.A. degree program is professionally oriented and allows a broad course of study; the M.F.A. includes a field or teaching internship and a thesis component.

Jonathan Masullo, SCAD e-Learning graphic design studentTestimonials

Jonathan Masullo, Troy, N.Y., M.A., graphic design:
“None of the schools in my area offer graduate-level coursework in graphic design, so online education was the best option for my current situation and lifestyle. I enjoy the fact that I can work at my own pace and adjust my schedule around the activities I might be involved in throughout the week. I’m able to be a student, while continuing my employment and personal life. Advanced study in graphic design will certainly help me to expand my horizons and continue to develop my skills.”

Bill Naylor, SCAD e-Learning graphic design student

Bill Naylor, Savannah, Ga., M.A., graphic design:

“I’m inclined to experiment with new technology. Combine that with the opportunity to seek a degree in my field of study, and I couldn’t resist SCAD’s eLearning program. I know an M.A. degree from SCAD will advance my career. The possibilities are endless; and the results are up to me.”
